This is a bit of a mammoth story, but I hope worth the telling, since yesterday I received from my second cousin, Shirley in Inverell, this photograph of her father, my great uncle Charlie Wells, lying in his box. My dad sent her the photo back in 1965 and it proves the family story of little Charlie’s misfortune is absolutely true.
